High Holy Days

The High Holy Days are a special time for our community to come together in reflection and celebration. During this sacred period, CBI Sisterhood proudly supports the synagogue through a variety of meaningful events and fundraisers, including our Rosh Hashanah Honey sales, sponsoring the Rosh Hashanah Children's Reception, and hosting the Yom Kippur Break Fast.

Rosh Hashanah Honey Fundraiser

What better way to wish family, friends, and business associates a "Sweet and Healthy New Year" than by sending a jar of honey? This 8-ounce jar of delicious kosher honey, beautifully decorated with a colorful label, arrives just in time for Rosh Hashanah. It includes a personalized card that reads, "Shana Tova—Wishing you a Healthy and Happy New Year," and informs recipients that a donation has been made in their honor to CBI Sisterhood.

Yom Kippur Break Fast

Every year, CBI Sisterhood hosts the Break Fast following Yom Kippur services, providing a warm and welcoming space for the congregation to come together and conclude the holiest day of the year. This communal meal is an important part of congregational life, offering an opportunity to reflect, reconnect, and celebrate as we break the fast together. As part of your High Holy Day ticket reservations, you can choose to make a donation to support this meaningful event, helping to ensure that it continues to be a cherished tradition at CBI.
