CBI Sisterhood's Jewish Penicillin Cook-Off celebrates the soups that comfort us, connect us, and tell our stories. Enter a treasured family recipe, put a modern spin on traditional Jewish penicillin or share a favorite vegetarian or vegan comfort soup.

About the event

Guests will taste the entries and vote for their favorites, with prizes awarded to our top soup makers. Proceeds from the event will support CBI Sisterhood. We also encourage you to bring a can of soup to be donated to the Jewish Family Services food pantry.


Maximum: 30 soup entries total


Early Bird Entry: $40 through November 10

Regular Entry: $50 beginning November 11

Entry fee includes event admission for the soup maker plus one helper


Registration and soup descriptions must be submitted by January 15, 2027, or when we reach 30 entries, whichever comes first
