The CBI Sisterhood Judaica Shop is a long-standing tradition at CBI. The shop has two purposes: First is to provide Jewish ritual items as well as items central to our celebrations for our congregation and the greater Jewish community. Second, the profits from the sale of merchandise provide scholarships for CBI youth to attend Greene Family Camp or the post-confirmation teen trip to Israel. Supporting the shop is a mitzvah, as you are helping our young people have enriching Jewish experiences.

Some of the many items carried in the Judaica Shop include:

  • jewelry
  • Jewish-themed gifts
  • shofars
  • yads
  • toys
  • games
  • religious books
  • cards
  • mezuzot
  • kiddush cups
  • candlesticks
  • Shabbat/havdalah/yahrzeit/menorah candles
  • dreidels
  • menorahs
  • kippot

The shop is open 45 minutes before Friday night services, and during both sessions of Sunday School.  During normal business hours Monday-Friday, the shop will be opened by the CBI staff for those wishing to make a purchase.

NEW SERVICE!

If you would like to buy a tallit, there is now a book in the Judaica shop with over 100 tallitot available to order. We are able to offer many more colors and styles by special order than we could previously.

Many include a kippah and a bag. The prices are comparable to what is online. Additionally, the shop is offering 10% off the price of ALL tallitot. If the tallit is for a Bat or Bar Mitzvah, the discount is 15%.

Volunteer with us

The shop needs volunteers to work Sundays during both Sunday School sessions -- 9 a.m. - 11 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. - 1:30 p.m. (We're closed on Sundays when Sunday school isn’t in session.)

Volunteering is easy. You keep the shop open and ring up any sales. Many volunteers work on their laptops when there are no customers. Training is provided and takes about 15 minutes to learn the cash register and how to ring up credit card sales.
