General Guidelines to Event planning with CBI sisterhood

Please note: This page is for Sisterhood Board members and Committee Chairs only.

Welcome Committee Chair members and thank you for giving your time, skills, & passion to creating an event with CBI's Sisterhood!

To plan your event, please open the Event Planner Form below and fill it out to the best of your abilities. The questions are designed to help you plan a successful event and communicate your needs to Harold Wilensky & staff at CBI to ensure all the information has been given and received. 

Note: All Signage must say "Congregation Beth Israel" or "CBI" and be submitted to Harold Wilensky at harold@bethisrael.org.

If you plan on serving food at CBI, please no pork or shellfish. Please also be aware of other dietary needs of the congregation/your group: vegetarian, gluten-free, nut-free. It is fine to serve beer and wine at adults-only events. If you would like to serve hard alcohol, you must have a TABC-certified bartender.

Keep in mind that room reservations for events will be based on a first-come, first served basis.
